Some very grave news arrived in my inbox this afternoon. My pottery studio, Mother Earth Clay Art Center, is in a desperate financial situation.

They need to raise $122,000 immediately in order to avoid being evicted and continue operating until the end of the year. Mother Earth Clay Art Foundation will attempt to step up fundraising efforts through the end of July to see if they can keep the studio open, but right now they only have enough money to continue operations until the end of August.

They only received their 501(c)3 nonprofit tax-exempt status 4 months ago and have started hearing back about their grant applications, but it will take one more year before sufficient funds start trickling in.

In the next few days I will be attempting to whip up some art to auction off to raise some money for Mother Earth. I hope I can find enough inspiration and energy to pull this off in such a short period of time, and when I succeed, I hope I can find some generous patrons to support the cause.

Just configure the widget preferences with the following:
1. In the General tab, set Refresh label to Minutes.
2. Set Refresh Quanitity to 15.
3. Set Other Webcam to http://www.winnietong.com/seamonkeys/seamonkeys.png
4. Set Title as Sea-Monkeys (optional)
5. Set Home site to http://www.winnietong.com/seamonkeys/seamonkeys.png (optional)
6. Check the box for Use Other Webcam
7. Select any Frame color (optional)
8. Click the save button.
