Project Nine Mile

In the next 12 months, at least 3 of my friends are going abroad to participate in philanthropy projects. First is my buddy Mina who is currently in Nine Mile, Jamaica, the birthplace of Bob Marley. In association with Schools Without Borders, he's helping the staff and students at Stepney All Ages School catch up with the 21st century digital world. Being an avid film maker, Mina is also documenting his experience in a film and blogging whenever Internet connectivity exists.

The Project Nine Mile blog provides an interesting perspective on their progress and Mina's flickr stream is full of expressive photographs.

If their pictures and words move you, show them your support!

First half of 2008 recap

2008 is almost half over, where did it go?

Feb 2008 - Mimming gave me WoW for Valentine's Day as a gag gift, but it turned out to be a big mistake on his part.

March 2008 - WoW

April 2008 - WoW

May 2008 - got plane tickets to Tokyo to force myself to stop playing WoW.

June 2008 - Back from Japan. No WoW. Leveling my tailoring and jewelcrafting skills in real life. My trip to Japan has been totally inspiring, to say the least. Plus, I have to make my costume for Blizzcon!
